My family has been going to Planters all my life (65 yrs) we have spent thousands of dollars. My wife alone spent over 300 this past spring. Today was a light day just 25 for spices. We live an hour away and as we were paying I ask to use the restroom. They told me no we don't have a public restroom. I can understand they dont want nonpaying or the homeless using the restroom. But like i said we were paying when they said no. So there are many other establishments that sell the same. We will not be going back and I would encourage you to spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They have no legitimate reasons to turn there paying customers away. I will be putting out reviews on other forums as well. You can see by Planters response that they do not care about customers opinions. I am very sure the employees dont have to walk down the block. I will in the future walk down the street as they suggest. And spend my money elsewhere

Pros: Good variety, good quality of seeds and spices, location Cons: Parking, Prices on some items, lack of information on spices and coffee, floors need upgraded in some areas, customer service I have been to this location on several times as well as my father. He in an expert Gardner and I am a certified professional Landscape Designer with 10+ years in the industry. I love the bird plant seeds that this location has to offer. However the conversation with the staff is strained and come with a lot of effort as they seem to not really care to discuss the particulars of certain questions regarding their selections. I am not sure if this is a post-covid issue but it is not acceptable and needs to be addressed. I asked a woman who I was ordering seeds from various questions on some wild flower shade mix. I asked her what the shade time was for the and she acted abrasive and bothersome at the question. I asked several other questions and received the same response which led me to finish my transaction and leave the store. The next time I think about visiting this store I will consider whether I want to experience poor customer service again. Parking can be a bit of a bother on the

Our purpose coming here because we were told this place have better seed quality compared to the big box stores. I can say that this place gets busy, large with multiple buildings. I know nothing about farming, so hopefully our products grow. Like I said, if the food don’t grow, it could be because of me, not this place. They did have good prices and the staff knew what they were taking about. Wife and I both got educated today from the staff.

I brought my mother here to see all of the amazing heirloom seeds and bulk spices. She was in heaven and promised to be back. We had a good 45 minutes exploring the store and she was delighted the whole time. A business that's been around for near 100 years, I'll gladly support local!! They have bulk spices, heirloom seeds, teas and coffee beans, a full gardening section and so much more. Has the old wooden floorboards that creak as you shop. Such a lovely place. If you garden, cook, or drink tea or coffee, it is worth a visit!!
